About APABI
The Asian-Pacific Association of Banking Institutes (APABI) is a semi-formal and non-profit association established in 1986 by 11 banking institutes. APABI as a bridge in bringing together specialist training institutes sharing a common goal, to enhance banks and financial institutions human capital development and professionalism.
The first conference was held in Singapore in 1986. The APABI conference is held by APABI members on a rotating basis every two year Thereafter, there have been 19 APABI conferences held in different countries with last conference held in Philippines by the Bankers Institute of the Philippines where BFA of Mongolia was selected as the next host.
Banking and Finance Academy, Mongolia (BFA) was selected to host the APABI Conference 2022, from 22nd to 24th at BWP TUUSHIN Hotel in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.

The theme “Reshaping Banking Sector in Post Pandemic Era” is a kind reminder for member states and conference participants that reshaping and quick adoption in banking sector is essential and that human touch and real communication in banking sector still matter in a post pandemic era that rapid adoption of innovation and technology is taking place.
