Norihiko Kato

Chief Executive Officer, Golomt Bank

Mr. Norihiko Kato graduated from the University of Tokyo in 1981 and UCLA-Anderson University in 1988. Mr. Kato has over 30 years of broad experience in the banking industry.

He started his career at the Bank of Tokyo (now MUFG), and worked in Tokyo, New York, Amsterdam and Bahrain at all management levels of corporate banking, human resources and corporate planning.

• 2009-2016 Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Chief Executive Officer of Khan Bank, Vice President of Mongolian Bankers Association
• 2016-2019 Chief Executive Officer of Sathapana Bank, Cambodia and successfully merged Sathapana Limited microfinance institution and Maruhan Japan Bank of Cambodia, one branch bank into a commercial bank named “Sathapana Bank PLC”
• Since 2019 Chief Executive Officer of Golomt Bank.
